Why We Do This

The purpose of this charity event is to raise money for the Elderly of the villages of Bohai Township, who have helped this area to grow. Those living outside Mutianyu Village particularly struggle with no tourism revenue, left behind by the young. From 2010-2013 Bohai or Bust has raised a total of Rmb 88,618. This year the presentation of proceeds will occur Thursday 2 October 2014 on Chong Yang Jie (Elder's Day), a traditional Chinese holiday which celebrates the elderly.
